Ratt - 'Round & Round' (1984)
Today's pick comes straight from the middle of my childhood - the awesome '84! - Ratt was my favorite band then and i distinctly remember requesting this and their other songs at the skating rink! Ha! Of all the 'hair metal' bands of the 80'z - i still think they were the best. Hearing them also reminds me of going to the local arcade which was called 'Aladdin's Castle' and playing stuff like 'Gauntlet', 'Tron' and 'Dragonslayer.'

Can't count how many of my childhood hours were spent in arcades, skating rinks and bowling alleys pumping quarters into the games. I remember one arcade here, Putt Putt Golf and Games, always had the best music. It was torn down long ago and replaced by a GIANT Krispy Kreme. Arcades are dying, its pretty sad.
