I have finally gotten a copy of this film & i must say it definitely lives up to its 'legendary' reputation. Shot in Texas & Tennessee around '75 it showcases the then new torchbearers of american music and songwriting. Theres great footage of highway travels and studio sessions and revealing glimpses into the households of Townes Van Zandt & Guy Clark.
Most people know about Townes, Guy, Coe & Charlie Daniels being featured in this film...
...some others include Barefoot Jerry,
and some great performances by Steve Young.
