Night Witches

The Soviet, all female 588 Night Bomber Regiment which helped to diminish the German advance. The Germans dubbed them the 'Nachthexen' or Night Witches.

Their heroic deeds were immortalized in heavy metal tribute by a favorite of mine: Sabaton
