One of the best honky tonkers around, has got a new album coming out September 18 called '3 Pears.'
Dwight along with George Strait & Randy Travis kept country music alive on the radio in the 1980's when 'country music' was pretty much completely pop (unbelievably its even worse these days). Some of the stations complained that the songs coming from those three singers were 'too country.'
