I saw this interview filmed in Coe's Daytona Beach home a few years ago & came across it again today. I like the story he tells of taking his bike on his sailboat when he lived in Key West in order to ride whenever he put ashore. Thats the life. Actually, musically i really like his 'Key West' phase, when he was putting out albums like 'Spectrum VII' and 'Compass Point' in the late 70's. A lot of the songs had imagery involving ships and the sea, and of course the 7 Mile Bridge - mix that up with some of the best country-rock ever made & what you got is a classic case of the bees knees.
