1 & 1/4 gallons of gas is about 10 pounds, and the larger tank might weigh a few pounds more. Say 12 to 15 pounds for the tank. The forks, headlight cover, seat, oil bag, and some other accessories are all different on the H. The XLCH is much more like the classic Sportster image. This picture of '68 Sporty's shows the differences pretty well. The XLCH is in the back, and the XLH in the front has the optional engine guards, windshield, and bags.

Gotta love how the specs are completely identical except for wheelbase, weight and fuel capacity! Peanut tanks rule.

that stuff adds up quick...im glad i dont see to many sportsters with windshields,crash bars and hardbags!
