Triumph Time

Several years ago i had in mind to get me a late 60's Triumph Bonneville. The same week i started talking to my wife about it, she called and told me there was a '71 Bonneville in the local classifieds. Turns out to be Larry McNeil who my dad has known forever. So i ended up buying the rebuilt Triumph and also got to know Larry who is a really cool guy the kind of old school biker that will help you out however he can. Id also say that he's a master Triumph mechanic. In the 1970's he used to run the local Triumph shop. His newest build is this beautiful 1969 TR6 C.
Check out this great old ad:
Below is the '71 Bonneville i bought from Larry which he rebuilt.
Thanks to Larry for letting me take the pictures.

Outstanding! That is a beautiful old Bonnie, and wonderfully restored. I currently ride a Triumph Rocket III Classic. I'm trying my best to steer clear of the old project bikes since I know once I start putting one of these old beauties back on the road I will be hooked forever. My goal is to ride 'em, and time in the shop isn't the same as time riding.

But to put that kind of effort into one certainly gives you a great sense of pride when you crank her up and hit the pavement.
