The Harley Davidson Shortster was a cool little mini bike that was only sold in 1972. I wish I would've had one of these when I was a kid!
They were part of the ''Spaghetti Harley'' line, the Aermacchi developed machines that were made in Italy. Some of the other models were the Leggero, Baja, Rapido, and the Sprint.
Its a rather odd part of The Motor Company's history and it seemed as if there might be another Italian-HD possibility when they acquired MV Agusta but they have recently announced their decision to sell the MV Agusta company.
