Wow - Stryper on the Wally George show in 1984. This was the year of their first album 'The Yellow and Black Attack.' Wally brings up some absurd 'fake news.' I distinctly remember this kind of heavy metal paranoia that happened in the 80s, there were so many 'urban legends' concerning metal musicians, especially Ozzy Osbourne who's music was always relatively tame!
I wish i would've known about this episode before i met Stryper last year, I would've inquired about it.
