Ok, House on the Borderland is back with some tracks from the mid-90's and going on a world tour!
These are tracks that my friend Derek and I created on an old 4-track cassette recorder. Very limited number of recording tracks, very limited editing, no mastering...100% bedroom quality, but there are still some good moments on these old recordings. At the time this was recorded we were heavily into Cluster, 70's instrumental Eno, and early Kraftwerk. These influences make their way to the surface on these tracks at times, and even though we needed more/better equipment to do what we wanted, we had good intentions!
The cover photo was taken by a friend from his motorcycle as we took a side road off the Blue Ridge Parkway on a camping/motorcycle trip in 2007.

so far I listened to the first 4 songs and this album is VERY very great, I love it.
I will have to start the album from the beginning tuesday morning, I am listening to something else and need to devote my concentration on your album 100%. I wish the recording was crisper but that's alright because you have to use your deeper mind to make up the reality of what it should sound like live.
I'm very impressed so far with this album.
the recording forces you to focus and listen hard so that you don't miss anything.

how do I steal the songs if I ever wanted to make a video and use a song as the soundtrack? would I need to get your permission first? I want to make a video of that Davy Crockett nuke video and somehow lay your song on top then rename the video. I have no idea how to do it yet, it's just an idea.
I would reduce the original audio of that vintage video down to about 20% then put your dramatic mood music on top, somehow. why don't you do it?
