no one wants the responsibility of caring for all those records. it's also a lot of money to buy them . and you would have to move them into a warehouse. and insure them and the cost of the space and electric. you would have to guard them from damage. it's not that people don't give a damn.

i agree - it would take a very particular buyer, plus the 50 million dollar estimation is extreme.
